New look

I’ve noticed that my site didn’t get so much visitors and that’s just because of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so I decided to change theme (because previous one was buggy with Meta tags and all other things that goes under SEO). I installed theme called Vidyal created by Sadish (I think that his themes are the best for SEO, I realized that at this site, where I’m administrator). And also I added one plugin which will help me a lot. It’s called “All in One SEO Pack”. You can download it here. It has all that one site need to get better rank in Google or any other search engine. I’m hoping that this will help me in my way to became world known blogger :-D I’m just kidding, but it will organize my site better on Google server.

What else is happening in my life?

Well, blogging-by-email isn’t working, but I’m going to fix it as soon as possible. School is bit hard these days because it’s almost end of school year and I need to study harder.

About blog! I don’t have much time, because of above reasons and its hard for me to type in English, so I need time. But summer is almost here, can’t wait! Sea, friends, clubs… A lot of subject to blog about :-)

I’m slowly becoming blog and blogging addict ;-)

Parlamentarni izbori u Srbiji

Posting by email

I’m trying to make my blog post-by-email available but I have a lot of problems with this option. This is first reason why I didn’t post anything for about a month. Second reason is school, of course. I have problems with my marks and I’m spending less time at the computer, which is nice. I need your help now.

Does anyone maybe know how to translate MIME encoding into UTF-8 format? When I’m sending emails through mobile phone they are sent in MIME format. If I’m sending emails through browser on my mobile emails are normal but have famous Gmail line breaks after 79th letter (like in this one). I really don’t like this so can anybody help me?

Why do I love anime?

Anime アニメ
Slowly they are taking over the world, and I can tell you that I’m glad.

I remember that I watched anime for first time when I was 7 or 8 years old. I watched “Digimon”. Shortly after that “Dragon Ball” and famous “Dragon Ball Z”. I always loved to watch them and even now when I’m almost adult. Why?

Internet Explorer is unsafe

Sometimes I use both browsers - Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. When I logged into my WordPress dashboard I noticed little banner in footer saying “Browse Happy”.

Browse Happy logo

When I relogged in Firefox I couldn’t see that little banner, so I get curious. I never clicked on that button until few days ago. I discovered fact which I knew two years ago - the fact that Internet Explorer is unsafe browser. There’re a lot of stories at that site so take a look. I’ll just tell you that I switched to Firefox because my computer crashed two times. I don’t know is this because of hackers or viruses but I know that after switching to Firefox I never had problems with computer crashing. And my browsing was so slow with Internet Explorer.

It’s true that Microsoft changed a lot with new Internet Explorer 7 but I think that Firefox is far more better. You have a lot of add-ons, a lot of themes etc.

View more at BrowseHappy.com and download Firefox here.

Toilet-woman

This is next article of unbelievable story about women who had been sitting on toilet for almost two years, in Kansas, USA. I write about that here. I’ve found bit more about this story.

Boyfriend name is Kory McFarren and he’s 37 and woman is named Pam Babcock, 35. Kory called authorities on February 28th, 2008 to say something was wrong with his girlfriend. He claimed that she didn’t want to come out of the toilet and he bring her food and drink. Babcock sat on the toilet so long that open sores developed and caused her to become attached to the toilet seat. Doctors at a Wichita hospital where Babcock was taken told McFarren that an infection in her legs damaged her nerves and could leave her in a wheelchair. When the police came they needed to remove whole toilet with woman.

After police call, Kory McFarren was arrested for alleged lewd and lascivious behavior and spent the night in jail before bonding out. McFarren has been charged with mistreatment of a dependent adult. He appeared in court on April 7th, 2008.

McFarren was charged last week with a misdemeanor count of mistreatment of a dependent adult.

Pat Bollinger, the woman’s aunt, said she calls daily to the hospital to ask how Babcock is doing and asks every day to talk to her. Babcock has agreed to talk to her only once for about 10 minutes, she said.

During that one call, Babcock spoke little and mostly listened as Bollinger recounted happy family memories — time spent swimming, camping and boating — from the year Babcock lived with them in Arizona when she was in fifth grade.

Babcock has not spoken about her bathroom ordeal, said Bollinger, the family spokeswoman.

“I didn’t bring up anything,” Bollinger said. “I just let her know how much I loved her and cared for her.”

“Her wounds are still serious. … She is not out of the woods by any means. She is a very sick girl,” Bollinger said.

Relatives tried many times to contact Babcock during the 16 years she lived with her boyfriend, McNamara said. They had limited contact the first year, but have not been able to see her during the last 15 years.

She blamed McFarren for Babcock’s refusal to see her relatives. McFarren has said in the past that it was Babcock’s choice not to see her family.

About three or four years ago, worried relatives sent the sheriff to their house to check on her welfare, Bollinger said.

“She was still on her feet,” Bollinger said. “When the deputy came back he did say he got to talk to her. But she was very upset with me that I had sent the sheriff — but I also note her boyfriend was there when she called me back.”

McFarren told authorities that Babcock feared leaving the bathroom and may not have left it in two years, although he said he was unsure how long exactly she was in there. He said that he took her food and water daily, and that he repeatedly asked her to come out but that she usually replied “maybe tomorrow.”

“The only thing I am guilty of is I didn’t get her help sooner,” McFarren told The Associated Press earlier this month.

“We tried many times to contact her — to let her know we loved her, to send her clothes, to send her presents — but we didn’t hound her,” McNamara said. “She is an adult and she isn’t mentally retarded or slow.”

Emo culture part 2

OK, with my first article about emos (Emo culture), I made a lot of traffic to my blog and a lot of incomprehensions from one of my friend who even say that I’m stupid, because I don’t know what emo is all about. She got my article wrong, I was writing about people who is pretending to be too emotional. Well never mind that, I stated to research what means to be true ‘Emo’ and I found very interesting stuff.

That “friend” say that she’s emo and well, after reading and researching all this, I don’t know what to mean about that “friend”… See for yourself…
